Ahmed Elshaitany
Pharmacist | Data Analyst | E-commerce Operations
I combine scientific training with analytical thinking to solve practical business problems. With experience in last-mile delivery coordination and a passion for building workflow automation tools, I focus on turning complex data into efficient operations.
About Me
My professional foundation as a Pharmacist instilled a rigorous, evidence-based approach to problem-solving. Whether counseling a patient or auditing a complex operational workflow, I rely on structured thinking and an acute attention to detail.
Through my roles across community pharmacy and at Al-Dawaa's call center, I developed a strong interest in the systems that support modern healthcare and retail. This curiosity drove me to study data analysis and software automation.
Today, I combine my clinical background with technical skills to improve e-commerce operations. By analyzing data and building custom desktop and browser tools, I focus on eliminating repetitive bottlenecks, ensuring accurate order routing, and maintaining high standards in last-mile delivery.
Core Philosophy
"Technology should serve operations, not complicate them. By understanding the granular details of a daily workflow, we can build targeted solutions that drive efficiency, reduce human error, and ultimately provide a better experience for the end-user."

Featured Projects: Custom Tools
I develop targeted applications to solve specific operational bottlenecks. These tools demonstrate my ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and deploy practical technological solutions.
Pricing & Discount Assistant
Purpose:
A desktop application that instantly calculates complex retail promotion discounts and multi-tier pricing scenarios.
How it works:
The user inputs the base piece price and selects promotional offers (e.g., 1+1, 2+1, 1+2nd at 50%). The app handles logic for extra percentage discounts governed by maximum SAR caps, outputting step-by-step price breakdowns per piece and total order.
Why it matters:
Eliminates manual calculation errors at the point of sale, ensuring accurate pricing for customers while protecting profit margins according to strict promotional rules.
Omnichannel Order Recall Manager
Purpose:
A browser extension designed for quick recall and client follow-up management within e-commerce workflows.
How it works:
Using shortcuts or a floating UI, it captures selected customer phone numbers directly from web pages (normalizing Arabic numerals if present). It stores interaction history, logs outcomes (e.g., Delivery vs. Pickup), and allows the user to set specific follow-up reminders.
Why it matters:
Centralizes client follow-up directly in the browser, preventing lost interactions and ensuring organized, timely responses to customer delivery issues.
ElShaitany Search (Branch Routing)
Purpose:
A specialized utility for instantly matching internal branch codes to their exact geographical addresses.
How it works:
The tool monitors system clipboard activity. When an operator copies a branch code (e.g., 'P0201' or '601'), it cross-references a mapped internal dictionary to retrieve and display the full street address and region instantly.
Why it matters:
Drastically reduces lookup time for last-mile delivery coordination across hundreds of branches, supporting faster and more accurate delivery routing.
Workflow Automation & Productivity
I analyze repetitive data-entry sequences and consolidate them into reliable, keyboard-driven workflows to increase operational speed and consistency.
Open Sales History
Quickly opens sales history by interacting directly with the system UI to clear existing data and search recent transaction records.
Copy Reference Source
Locates and securely extracts the unique reference ID needed from the client's call for the subsequent fulfillment steps.
Prepare Order Details
Opens the POS interface, navigates to the customer search, and automatically populates the copied details to prepare the order.
Batch Product Entry
Prompts the user for a multiplier, automatically pasting the copied product code the specified number of times into the system.
Custom System Scripts
SAP Cloud Automation Suite
AutoHotkey v2 / UIAPurpose
Bridges gaps in standard CRM navigation. Interacting with SAP Cloud for Customer requires precise, multi-step clicks that slow down call center operations. This script suite automates these repetitive data-entry actions.
How It Works
Instead of relying on brittle pixel-based mouse clicks, the script utilizes the Microsoft UI Automation (UIA) framework. It programmatically identifies specific UI elements (like "Sales History", "Search", or "ID" labels) directly from the application's handle, ensuring reliable execution regardless of window size or screen resolution.
Practical Value
Allows representatives to instantly retrieve client sales data, pull reference codes, and finalize calls without navigating deep menus manually. By connecting these actions to simple keyboard shortcuts, it reduces physical fatigue, ensures data consistency, and optimizes Average Handling Time (AHT).
